| Other | Anup won his first senior singles title in February 2005 when he claimed the 69th Indian Senior National Championships.
Anup spent a few months honing his badminton skills in Denmark. During his time there, he got to play against some of the top Danish players and had the privilege of training at the International Badminton Academy in Copenhagen.
He also won his first international title in 2005. In October, at the Hungarian Open, fifth seed Anup beat some reputable opposition to claim the title.
In India, he trains at the BPL Prakash Padukone Academy, Bangalore, a prestigious badminton training academy. |
