| Other | Matthew started playing badminton when he was nine years old. He began playing at Llanfairfechan in North Wales where his parents were members.
He trains twice a day, five times a week. He also trains once on Saturday.
He has played badminton for clubs all over the world. He has played for Llanfairfechan BC in Wales, RS Sports in Malaysia, SG Shorndorf in Germany and SV Regensberg also in Germany.
Matthew and his partner Martyn Lewis are the number one Welsh badminton pair.
Away from table tennis, Matthew enjoys DJing (mixing music), reading and playing golf. His golf handicap is 12. |
