| Other | Shane first started cycling at the age of five. He made his first Team in 1990, and was named Australian Cyclist of the Year in 1996. He also won the Australian Male Track Cyclist of the Year award in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999.
He was one of five cyclists named by disgraced former teammate Mark French as having injected legal vitamin supplements at the Australian Institute of Sport in Adelaide. |
