| Injuries | Jane first tore her hamstring in 2001, forcing her to withdraw from the World Championships. A knee injury in 2002 almost kept her out of the Commonwealth games, however she rose above the injury to achieve Gold. Since 2003 further injuries have kept her from competing in a Heptathlon. |

Jane is a six-time national Open Heptathlon champion. She also won the under 18 and under 20 national championships.
She is known by her nick name Jamo and enjoys going to the beach, watching movies, meeting people and travelling.
She won the Heptathlon gold medal at the 1995 World University Games in Japan and at the 2001 World University Games in Beijing.
Jane always follows the same superstition before competing, putting her left shoe on before her right. |
