India have wrapped up a successful day's Shooting, finishing with two gold medals, as England and Scotland also triumphed.
Samaresh Jung and Ronak Pandit edged out Australia's David Moore and Bruce Quick to take the Men's 25m Standard Pistol Pairs gold, with South Africa in bronze position.
It was Jung's second gold medal for the day after earlier success in the Men's 10m Air Pistol, teaming up with Vivek Singh to deny England the top podium position.
Pandit was pleased with the 25m win, describing it as "A personal best, I couldn't have asked for more."
Australia's Quick and Moore are now focused on their individual performances, with Quick hoping to do better: "I think I've got a few points in the tank. I've got a couple of areas to improve technically."
In the 50m Rifle Prone Pairs competition England’s Mike Babb and Chris Hector triumphed at the Melbourne International Shooting Club (MISC) in Port Melbourne.
“Amazing, to be honest I thought I had lost it in the end, the wind made conditions like a roller-coaster,” said Hector after his winning performance.
Scottish duo Susan Jackson and Sheena Sharp won the Women's 50m Rifle Prone Pairs, with England and New Zealand taking silver and bronze respectively.
Full Bore Shooting competition starts 19 March at Wellsford Rifle Range (Bendigo).
